A multiplayer surprise hit of summer 2020, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, remains the talk of the day even a year and a half later. This engaging title with intense platformer-style gameplay owes much of its popularity to the fact that it was a free-to-play PS Plus game at launch. It is also how Fall Guys managed to set a new world record for being the most downloaded PS4 game available via PS Plus.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout was to roll out console versions exclusively for the Xbox Series X and S; however, it appears that the game will stay with PlayStation a little longer and eventually transition to Sony's next-generation console, the PS5. At least, that is what we can make of the recent discovery by @PlayStationSize – an account tracking new games released for PlayStation – that published a post claiming to have found an unannounced beta version of Fall Guys on the PS5 database.

What is likely to change with Fall Guys PS5 native version release?

As with other PS4 games, Fall Guys is already playable on PS5, thanks to the console’s Game Boost backward-compatibility feature. However, having a native PS5 version of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout should result in overall enhanced performance, as the game will leverage better hardware.

The Fall Guys game is currently available on both PS4 and PC, with Nintendo Switch and Xbox releases – initially scheduled for summer 2021 – now set to take place sometime in 2022. Fall Guys’ possibly getting its native PS5 version might be the reason why other releases are being late – to give the developers time to implement cross-play functionality for all versions of the game.

Have you tried playing Fall Guys on PS5 yet? Does it feel like the game could use some enhancements that come with a native version? Speak your mind in the comments below!

The app named Mind, which is to appear in watchOS 8, will take even more care of the user’s mental health. Little is known about it besides the name, though. What has appeared in the image that Apple published recently is the name “com.apple.Mind”, along with more apps that are probably to appear in watchOS 8. More information on this is expected during WWDC 2021, that started yesterday, on June 7, but the...

In iPadOS 15, this similarity will become even greater, because of improved multitasking. So, the rumor has it that the new iPadOS will look even more like a laptop. For example, the new home screen will be able to place widgets anywhere – like on its Android alternatives. Now, instead of dedicated section, you will be able to place widgets where you want them to be. Reviewed multitasking will allow your iPad to better handle multiple apps at the same...

In iOS 14.5, users for the first time got an option to block tracking within any single app. Now Google follows the same route with its mobile platform. In late 2021, Android will introduce the same possibility, though not for everybody at the same time. You won’t have to wait for the next major update to see apps ask you whether you will let them track you and access your data. All it takes is a Google Services update, and Alphabet is already working on it. So,...
